Meet The Doctors


Mara Catey-Williams, DMD, FACD

Dr. Catey-Williams graduated from Indiana University with a double major in Biology and Psychology.  She then continued her education attending Temple University School of Dentistry where she obtained her DMD degree.  In 1994, she joined her father in his private dental practice in Gas City, Indiana.  Today she is the owner of Catey Williams Dental.

In order to stay on top of the ever-advancing field of dentistry Dr. Mara regularly attends the American Dental Association’s Annual Session, as well as many other advanced dental education courses.

She is a member in good standing of the following professional dental organizations:

Dr. Mara has a love for dentistry and when her family time allows, she participates in dental mission trips to developing countries such as Haiti and Honduras.


Philip L. Catey, DDS (Retired)

Philip L. Catey, DDS attended Earlham College and then matriculated to Indiana University School of Dentistry to obtain his DDS degree. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Philip served in the United States Air Force.  In 1966, he opened his private dental practice in Gas City, Indiana.  In 2015, Dr. Catey was honored by the Indiana State Board of Dentistry by receiving the Sagamore of the Wabash award for his long term commitment to dentistry and the community.

Dr. Catey is an active member in good standing of the following professional dental organizations:

As a way to give back to the community, Dr. Philip donates his time to:

  • Bridges to Health (a local free dental clinic) Volunteer Dentist and Coordinator
  • Is very active in church functions, such as breakfasts, mission trips, fundraisers and office duties.
  • Is Chairman of the National Dental Health Month for children for Wabash Valley Dental Society
  • Participates with and promotes dental mission trips to Haiti, Paraguay and Indiana reservation in the US
  • Is a Sunday School Teacher at First United Methodist Church in Gas City
